THE landlords of the Stretton Fox have pulled their last pint after 12 happy years at the pub.
Ric Neilld and his wife Ann, who renamed the pub from the Spark Hall Farm, will be looking for new jobs after deciding to embark on a career change.
Ric, aged 50, is planning on working towards a job in social care and said his wife is looking forward to being a lady of leisure.
The pair said they would really miss the customers, particularly the long-serving ones who have been at the pub since they first started working there in 1997.
The Spark Hall Close pub has seen 220 staff work for the couple over the years, one former waiter is now a pilot. Chris Speight took over the eaterie on July 1.
