A QUIZ night in Grappenhall has raised £800 for a popular charity.
The ex-serviceman’s club in the village was the venue for the event where cash was donated to Making Space, which provides secondary health care, support for people with physical and mental health conditions, learning disabilities and dementia and their carers.
The money was raised at a quiz night organised by Storage Management Company, which carries the charity’s logo on the boxes it sells.
It is also its charity of the year for 2012.
Sylvia Kelly, from Making Space, said: “I am thrilled to receive this fantastic donation.
“It will be added to the total amount the company is raising this year and will be used for a unique project that the people who use our services will choose later in the year.”
