COUNCILLORS in Lymm have agreed to fund £1,700 towards roof repairs at St Mary's Church Hall.
The hall is a community facility and provides accommodation for a preschool and a number of community groups.
A clause to the agreement was that the parish council could claw back the money if the hall is not available for community use for the next 10 years.
