THE Lymm Runners club is celebrating after membership reached 100.

The club was set up in February 2010 and now runs five sessions a week, led by UK Athletics qualified run leaders.

“This club is special because of the members. We have a friendly welcoming ethos with a passion for a well organised run club that salutes the success of all athletes at all levels,” said Chris Lees, captain of Lymm Runners.

“We have members who run for fitness, some for pushing their PBs, some on the trail, others on the road and some who like a long long run for several hours or more!

“It has been a brilliant four years and we look forward to watching the club grow in the next few years.”

Lymm Runners meets outside Lymm Leisure centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm, Sundays at 8am and 9am and also outside Lymm Library on Wednesdays at 9.15am.
