STAFF at the Birchwood based headquarters of Your Housing Group have come up with a new pledge.
To celebrate the official opening of 602 at Birchwood Park, they launched a community promise.
It pledges to commit 602 volunteer hours and saw the release of 602 balloons in front of Mayor Clr Ted Finnegan and former NBA star John Amaechi.
On a day of fundraising, money was also raised for Macmillan at a coffee morning.
Your Housing Group chairman Kathy Cowell said: “We are delighted to bring all of our colleagues together under one roof here at 602.
"The space is totally functional and will give staff, residents and stakeholders a place to continue our commitment to Better Ways of Working.
"I’d also like to thank everybody who not only supported our launch today, but also helped to raise money for Macmillan.”
