PEOPLE using Newchurch Parish Hall will be able to raise the roof whatever the occasion after a £18,540 improvement scheme.
The roof at the Common Lane site has been replaced after a grant was awarded by The Veolia Environmental Trust.
The Rev Chris Stafford, from Newchurch Parochial Church Council, said: “We are delighted that work is complete.
“Previous projects have made the hall more accessible to people with disabilities, and the new roof has made it even more fit-for-purpose.”
