REPAIR work on Mustard Lane in Croft have been hailed as a vast improvement.

Warrington Borough Council contractors recently fixed potholes and road defects.

Clr Chris Vobe, ward councillor for Croft, said: “The repair works on Mustard Lane represent a vast improvement to the main arterial route through Croft.

“Coupled with the extensive improvements to the car park at St Lewis’ school which has helped to alleviate the congestion problems, this is another demonstration of the commitment to our village.”

Clr Matt Smith, of Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council, added: “We listened to the views of local people and made sure that the council put Mustard Lane at the top of the list.

“Similar works will be carried out on Lady Lane in due course, after the building on the former HMS Gosling site has completed.”
