Birchwood High students have been voting for their representative at the national Youth Parliament.
Birchwood High School has a strong history with the Youth Parliament with former pupils Ryan Barnes and Amin Abdelhamid representing Warrington North.
Year seven students voted after hearing from all the candidates through a video in assembly.
Terry McAlinden, head of year seven, said: βIt has been a really positive way to gain an understanding of our democratic processes and to appreciate the importance of taking part in elections.β
