NINE fluffy new arrivals joined the foundation class at Culcheth Primary School.
As part of lessons on growth, the class incubated nine eggs and all of them hatched successfully with one female and eight male chicks arriving in time for Easter.
Head teacher Amanda Dodd said: “The children enjoyed watching the changes in the chicks as they grew and developed very quickly. The chicks were all returned to the farm when they got too big to stay in school.”
