A POTENTIALLY life saving defibrillator has been donated to Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Hall.
Defibrillators deliver electrical energy to the heart in the event of a cardiac arrest.
Staff learnt how to do CPR and use the defibrillator at a course on the night.
The defibrillator was provided by the North West Ambulance Service with extra funding from the Hamilton Davies Trust.
Sharon Piggin, secretary of Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Hall, said: “The villagers and visitors can be assured that this life saving equipment is readily on hand.
“The life that this defibrillator could save could be yours.”
