Ex-Penketh High School pupils benefit from Nuffield bursary

TWO former Penketh High School pupils have won places on a scheme working alongside scientists, engineers and mathematicians this summer.

The Nuffield bursary scheme will see Callum Stevens and Luke Howard and four other students from Cronton Sixth Form College in Widnes working alongside professionals to complete a research project in technology, engineering and maths.

Both students, aged 17, said they were delighted to win the opportunity and hope to study physics at university.
