A CHAPELFORD mum has been thanking family, friends and neighbours for helping her make a charity barbecue a success.
Laura Keig, of Jamestown Avenue, held the event in aid of Cancer Research UK after losing three family members to cancer including her dad when she was 16, her granddad when she was 27 and her nan in May this year.
Laura annually completes the Race for Life to support the cause but said it was ‘amazing to see the community’ get involved with the event which included surprise appearances from princesses Cinderella and Rapunzel.
