PADGATE Walking Day will take place on June 21 this year, officials have announced.
Peter Edwards, chairman of Padgate and Woolston walking day committee, said a start time of 2.30pm is expected.
The walk will begin from the bridge next to Padgate railway station.
Mr Edwards said Christ Church will start in front, with members of St Oswald’s taking over when it reaches their church.
Ten churches and nine schools are set to take part.
Roads close to the traditional route are expected to be closed from around 1.45pm, so visitors are advised to arrive early.
