AN interim Oftsed inspection at Sankey Valley St James Primary School has found performance has been ‘sustained’ after receiving a rating of ‘good’ during their last full inspection.
Inspectors last visited the school in March 2011 and monitored elements of the school day including pupils’ attendance and progress.
In a letter to parents, the chief inspector said the next full inspection would not take place before summer next year but if concerns are raised an inspection would go ahead before that date.
