WARRINGTON’S deputy mayor has offered to personally trim problem bushes in Poulton North.
Clr Geoff Settle (Poulton North – LAB) said he will tackle areas where brambles or branches are specifically causing an obstruction to pedestrians.
“I will take a pair of shears to any spots that people complain about and cut away what I can,” said Clr Settle.
The Brook Acre Primary School governor said he has already trimmed hedges between the Solway bus stop and St Andrews Close.
He added Muir Housing has agreed to cut all hedges on its estates in Cinnamon Brow, Longbarn and Fearnhead.
To ask Clr Settle to trim a hedge, call him on 07768 542635.
