THOUSANDS of visitors are expected to descend on Winwick this weekend to visit the annual fun fair.
Winwick Carnival is back and this year it promises to be bigger and better than before.
A flyover by Battle of Britain RAF in a Dakota was confirmed earlier this year and a number of acts have been secured by the festival’s organisers.
This includes local band Loor a Los Heroes, guitar and folk singer, Tony Gill, a performance by Team Kinetix free runners and a Civil War re-enactment by the English Civil War Society.
The annual festival opens at 12pm on Saturday.
