PICKING a name for a Eddie Stobart lorry has proved a popular game with pupils at Winwick Primary School but there could only be one winner.
Year five pupil Poppy Miller was awarded first place, with her name suggestion of Patricia-Honey.
The competition was part of a wider fundraising initiative to raise money for its partner school in Sierra Leone, Bread of Life School.
All youngsters also took part in a water race where pupils carried two buckets of water around the school.
Head teacher Ian Price said: “They did really well but some of the children did struggle, which was the point.
“The children in Sierra Leone have to walk to a well each day because there’s no water at the school.
“It’s about showing the pupils the differences in their school day in comparison to children in Sierra Leone.”
