BRITISH bulldogs soaked up the sun at Walton Hall and Gardens during an awareness event set up to show the public their 'friendly' side.
The Bulldog Rescue and Rehoming Trust organised the fundraising walk to tie in with its 15-year anniversary celebrations on March 13.
Around 32 dogs made their way to the historic site for the day, which raised £55 for the charity.
The organisation provides care for the British bulldogs 'in any situation requiring rehoming' and works across the UK.
It is urging anybody who can give a dog a loving home to register on its website.
The service is made up of a network of volunteers, who between them travel more than 10,000 miles a year.
It is available to offer 'unbiased breed advice to all those that own a pure bred bulldog', while educating owners in the hope that bulldogs can be free from cruelty, abuse and neglect.
The group has a number of events in the pipeline over the coming year as it bids to raise as much money as possible for the 'friendly' animals.
