MORE than 200 children were joined by three special guests at Warrington Sports Club for an under nine cricket tournament.
Former England captains Andrew Flintoff and Michael Vaughan, along with ex-professional footballer Robbie Savage, watched on as their children competed in the event.
Alderley Edge ended the day as winners but it was smiles all around at the Higher Walton club.
The stars spoke to children, signed autographs and posed for pictures with those in attendance.
Although they may have retired from their sports, each were keen to try their hand at bowling - thankfully no injuries were caused.
The day proved to be a double success after one of the cricketers, Jonjo Hall, aged 9, organised a cake sale to raise funds to help those affected by the devastating Nepal earthquake.
His efforts raised an impressive £330.
