MOTORISTS in Stretton and Lower Stretton will face a series of road closures around the M56 roundabout over the coming six weeks.
From Monday there will be a series of overnight works to resurface the roads in the area.
The roundabout itself will be closed to vehicles during the work along with the roads leading up to junction 10 of the M56.
Tarporley Road from its junction with Stretton Road and again to its junction with Pillmoss Lane will close.
Hall Lane and Fir Tree Lane will also be closed for 25m from their junctions with Tarporley Road and Northwich Road will be closed to Summit Close from the roundabout.
The closures are anticipated to take place between the hours of 8.30pm and 5.30am from Monday to Friday and the work will be implemented in phases to reduce impact.
Alternative routes will be in operation during that time.
