FANCY trying something new?
Then why not give country dancing a try.
The Stockton Heath Country Dance club meets every Monday in term time at St Thomas’ CE Primary School.
New dancers are always welcome and they can expect to try a range of routines from 1650 to present day ranging from slow and stately to more lively numbers.
A rota of callers give instructions for each dance and include a practise beforehand.
The group meets from 8pm to 10pm and is a member of the English Folk Dance and Song Society The club is online at madfolk.org.uk/stockton_heath.html.
