A GROUP who scaled Kilimanjaro in the hope of raising £25,000 for Warrington Youth Club have been celebrating after more than doubling their target.
The team from soft drinks brand Vimto and staff from the charity based at the Peace Centre in Great Sankey have so far collected £55,000 after climbing the tallest peak in Africa.
James Nichols, from Vimto, which has made the cause their charity of the year, said he was thrilled.
The company paid for the cost of the trip so the maximum amount of money went to the charity.
