Community event in Stockton Heath

GET into the Olympic spirit with a community event in Stockton Heath for the opening ceremony of the London 2012 games.

New song network, a part of the Sankey Valley Circuit of the Methodist Church in Warrington, has organised an opening celebration of the Olympic Games tomorrow, Friday.

Along with a screening of the opening ceremony, an evening full of fun will be provided by a range of groups and churches.

The event is held at Stockton Heath Primary School, West Avenue, from 5pm to 10.30pm.
