Candestine Cake Club members raise £800 for cancer

MEMBERS of a cake club collected more than £800 for Marie Curie at a fundraising day.
The members of The Candestine Cake Club, which meets in south Warrington, ran the event at Grappenhall Cricket Club.
And as part of the cancer charity’s tea party campaign, members agreed to bake and donate raffle prizes for the good cause.
