AN open garden event in Lymm has raised more than £8,500 for St Rocco’s and other charities.
More than 700 tickets were sold with Lymm Open Gardens, making it one of the largest private open gardens event in the country.
Commented organiser Clare Downing: “The sunny weather on the day helped us to smash last year's figure, which was also a record.
“Thanks to everyone who came and supported the event, which is a key part of the fantastic Lymm Festival.”
Organiser Julie Fairhurst added: “We are now starting our search for ten more gorgeous gardens for 2015.
