PRIMARY school students have been getting stuck into a science experiment at Beamont Collegiate Academy as part of a week aimed at raising aspirations.

Children from St Margaret's Primary School and St Andrew's Primary School, both in Orford, visited the academy on Long Lane as part of Hopes and Dreams week.

Maxine Ward, BOLD co-ordinator, said: “We have planned a jam packed week of activities for primary school students who attend schools within the BOLD cluster.

"The aim is to inspire students to raise their aspirations by working with older students and gaining access to exciting new environments."
