A TEAM of fitness freaks who train at University Academy in Padgate have raised £1,400 for three charitable causes. The group, led by trainer Nicola Rae, took part in a 12.5km assault course in Leeds.
They tackled obstacles like an ice plunge, electric shock therapy, human bbq and 15ft walls to raise the money.
It will be donated to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, CALM suicide prevention and Kidney Research UK.
