New home for disabled youngsters has opened its doors in Padgate

A NEW home for disabled youngsters has opened its doors in Padgate.
Westland Drive offers overnight accommodation to children aged three to 17 with physical disabilities and complex health needs.
Two people can be cared for at any one time, with a range of sensory equipment available.
There is also a large garden and purpose-built corridors to allow for a wheelchair.
Staff and parents involved in the project attended the opening on Thursday.
A number of community activities are now planned.
