Ofsted gives Oakwood Avenue school good rating

OAKWOOD Avenue Community Primary is still performing as a good school, according to Ofsted.

The Padgate School had an interim inspection in January with the report published on March 20.

Inspectors said the performance had been sustained since the last full inspection in May 2009.

Attainment, progress and attendance were all monitored. Views of parents were taken into account.

The score means the school will not have another full Ofsted inspection until the summer of 2013.

Good to see Oakwood Ave school continue to do well under the leadership of Gary Cunningham.

He has been doing well in his first post as Headmaster. Let's hope it doesn't all get spoiled by one or two members of staff.
