BOROUGH councillor Matt Smith has pledged support for Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft residents’ causes following election victory.
He said: “Already, I have set to work resolving a number of issues that were raised with me during my campaign.
“I have spoken with residents of Culcheth Hall Drive and Withington Avenue, who are dismayed at graffiti on the ginnel. We are working to have this removed as quickly as possible.
“Along with parish councillor Mike Vobe, I have asked for a street sign on Lowther Avenue, where the current one has been badly damaged in a car accident.
“We are liaising with Golden Gates Housing Trust to bring repairs and improvements for residents in Crofton Gardens and Warrington Road.
“We have already secured a guarantee that additional road repairs will be carried out on streets including Broadhurst Avenue, Kirkby Road, and Spring Lane.”
