Clr Tony Higgins, executive board member for parks and leisure, has invited people across the borough to join in with Love Parks week which runs from tomorrow, Friday, until July 23.

“Whether you want to relax, walk the dog, exercise or take the children to a playground there is so much to do so get out and enjoy our wonderful parks.”

Paul Todd, Keep Britain Tidy’s Green Flag Award manager, said, “We believe that everybody, wherever they live, should have access to a quality green space. We are asking everyone to join us in showing how much they care and helping us to protect parks for future generations.”
