CHILDREN from a Latchford primary school got to hit the stage of a famous dance studio.
The Year Six pupils at Latchford St James went to London earlier this month for a visit to the Pineapple Dance Studios.
Becky Williams, school dance teacher, and also proprietor of Shooting Stars Dance Academy, arranged the visit.
An ambassador for the studio talked to the children about the history of it being a pineapple factory before it was converted to a studio.
The children took part in a workshop with a choreographer and finally performed their routine, which they have been working on for the past 10 weeks.
The pupils involved are pictured with head teacher Jackie Wightman, who is leaving after 10 years to take a job at St Philip’s in Westbrook.
