RESIDENTS united as one to remove waste from the back streets around the Fairfield and Howley Neighbourhood Project hub.
The clean-up, organised by the council's central neighbourhood team and Fairfield Community Association, gathered 30 volunteers.
“We are delighted to support these clean-up days and are eager to ensure that local communities in Warrington have the tools and support to keep their area clean and tidy," said Cllr Kate Hannon (LAB -Orford).
The executive board member for leisure, community and culture added: "It’s fantastic that so many local volunteers were willing to give up their Saturday to make a difference in their area.
"I would like to thank all those involved in the project for all their hard work and enthusiasm.”
