YOUNG footballers at Warrington Town Junior Football Club (JFC) are pitch perfect after a £1,500 sponsorship.
The team was given the money from fuel and lubricant distributor Certas Energy to buy new home and away kits for three under 14 teams at the club
The club, who play on Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School's playing fields, were supported by the company which has its base on Bridgewater Place.
Certas Energy managing director, Paul Vian, said: “As one of the largest companies in the north west, we are determined to show our support for good causes in the area – and beyond.
“Warrington Town JFC really enriches the lives of local young people, giving them an outlet for their energy, while strengthening teamwork and community pride. The teams’ new kits should really make them stand out against their rivals during the new football season – we wish them the best of luck.”
Paul Anderson from Warrington Town JFC added: “Our club is funded solely by player subscription fees – which we try to keep low to make football accessible to all – and sponsorships, so we’re really grateful for this fantastic support.
“Kitting out more than 50 young people is no mean feat but, with Certas Energy’s help, our teams will really make an impression on the field with new, high quality strips.”
