ST WERBURGH’S Community Centre will host four weeks of low-intensity fitness sessions.
The Boswell Avenue centre, in Lower Walton, is running a Move4Life programme which offers one-hour activity sessions followed by refreshments.
Sessions include yoga, low-level circuit training, chair-based exercises and indoor games.
Sports Cheshire is funding the sessions which run from 10am to 11.30am week days.
Clr Pat Wright, executive board member for health, wellbeing and adult services, said: “As a local authority, residents’ health and wellbeing is a key priority to us.
“The Move4Life programme is a great opportunity for residents to try out some new activities that they may not have tried before.
It’s also a chance to socialise, make new friends and best of all, it’s free.”
