A CHARITY bike ride by a parishioner at a Latchford church has raised £1,000.
Andrew Thornley, who attends Blessed John Henry Newman Parish on Knutsford Road, tackled the Transpennine Trail From Hornsea to Southport along with friend Dave Derbyshire.
The money raised will go towards the work that Catholic aid charity Cafod do around the world.
