AN industrial recruitment specialist has hired a Warrington woman as its first business development manager for the north west.

Carole Lamb, aged 36, from Great Sankey, spent eight years at Altrincham-based Meridian Business Support, progressing from consultant to area manager, before joining Gap Personnel.

Carole said: “My focus at Gap will be on working with branch managers across the north west to bring in new clients and assist them in securing a bigger share of supply with existing clients.

“I will also be working with business development managers in other regions to maintain and improve our service to clients operating nationwide.”

The new role has been created as Gap, the UK’s eighth largest industrial labour provider, seeks to bolster its client base and market share across the region.

The agency operates six sites across the north west, including its branch on Barbauld Street.
