THREE site managers working on a Great Sankey housing estate have been recognised at the National House Building Council Pride in the Job Awards.

James Fera, Mark Scarlett and Will Smith, from David Wilson Homes North West, were all handed quality awards thanks to their ‘hard work and dedication’ on the Chapelford estate.

James Fera was recognised for his work on the Anniston Place housing development, Mark Scarlett won the award for work at Cleveland Place while Will Smith was given the honour for his contribution to Dakota View.

Graham Swann, managing director, said: “The Pride in the Job awards are truly prestigious, so we were absolutely delighted to hear that three of our site managers from the north west region have been awarded with this accolade out of 13,000 applicants.

“It demonstrates the hard work and dedication that all three have put into their recent developments and we are very proud that their work has been honoured.”

The awards are highly regarded throughout the house building sector as the winner is decided following spontaneous inspections on each site.

Around 13,000 site managers throughout the UK were entered into the competition where they were judged upon every aspect of their job and site, including quality workmanship, site safety and customer service.

All three site managers will now go on to the final round of the competition which aims to find the best site manager in Britain.
