A WHITTLE Hall councillor has said plans are moving along regarding the future of the new Sankey leisure hub with facilities potentially including tennis courts, sauna, spa and a library.
Clr Faisal Rashid said he is keeping up the pressure for a 'timely delivery' of the project which is expected in April 2016.
He added: "There will be a public consultation over the next few months.
"We really need excellent facilities here in Warrington west and this is an ideal opportunity to make this happen.
"If you have any ideas please let me know."
