A GREAT Sankey man is calling for residents support ahead of leaving the country next month to lead a group of young people taking part in International Citizen Service (ICS) with YCare International.
Joseph Delooze hopes to raise £800 ahead of flying to Bangladesh for the ICS programme which brings 18 to 25-year-olds together to 'enrich' some of the world's most struggling and deprived areas.
The former Great Sankey High pupil said: "I will be focusing on helping local YMCAs to provide skillshares for young people and protect the community against natural disasters.
"This will be a fantastic opportunity not only for my own personal development but also to help out a whole community of people who are really in need.
" It would be really great if the people of my hometown were able to sponsor me with a donation towards my £800 target.
"This money is not going towards funding my flights or project but will be going straight to the charity YCare International so that they can continue to do their brilliant work."
