Bonfire bonanza

THE Hatton Pub and Grill is inviting residents to attend its bonfire bonanza on Saturday.

The pub, on Hatton Lane, will put on entertainment throughout the evening and is also going to be treating customers to a hot supper.

The bonfire starts at 7pm, with fireworks due to commence at 8.30pm.

Tickets, which can be bought from the pub in advance or on the door, are priced at £7 for adults and £3 for children.

Competition winners

THREE youngsters will get the chance to have their own creations put on the specials board at a Stockton Heath ice cream parlour.

As part of the store's first birthday celebrations Pure Indulgence owner Helen Harvey launched a competition giving customers the opportunity to design their own crepe, waffle or sundae.

Winners have now been selected and asked to come into the store, on London Road, at a time which suits them.

Seven-year-old Sophy Williams will see her 'pancake Saturday' added to the board, while eight-year-old Sam Boland has created the 'rainbow sundae'.

Customers will also get the chance to try 10-year-old Imogen Leah's 'berry surprise waffle' once it is introduced.

Movember challenge

A STOCKTON Heath bike store has launched a Movember challenge for customers and riders.

Wild Bikes, based on London Road, is challenging cyclists to grow their moustaches to raise awareness for men's health.

The beard deemed to have the 'best growth' will win £100 worth of vouchers to use in the store.

Karaoke challenge

DO you think you can perfect the high notes on stage?

Because wine bar DWL Stockton Heath, based at Victoria Square, is inviting singers to pick up the mic to be in with a chance of winning £500 in time for Christmas.

The karaoke competition has proved to be popular since launching in September but even those unwilling to showcase their talents have been asked to come along to spectate.

Special drink offers are being put on during the karaoke nights.

The wine bar is also offering hydro-massages for those looking to relax over the hectic festive period.
