RECYCLING rubbish was music to pupils' ears at Park Road Primary School in Great Sankey.
Following a visit from Wilder Things, pupils in year three and four spent the day turning rubbish into musical instruments with the help of Tim Kirwin from Wilder Things, which hope to inspire people to 'love the environment even more', and created rain shakers, trumpets and drums.
Tracey Brennan, from the school, said youngsters thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was a worthwhile recycling lesson.
