OFFICERS from Warrington West NPU have issued a warning to residents in Great Sankey and Penketh after numerous shed break-ins in the Past few weeks.
Police are urging homeowners to lock their back or side gate and use a heavy duty padlock to lower the risk of becoming a victim.
A spokesman added: “Replace screws on your shed hinges with coach bolts as this stops thieves unscrewing them and lock all valuables such as bikes and lawn mowers together with a heavy chain.”
