YOUNG piano students used their talents to help raise £205 for the Chernobyl Children's Project.
The pupils are all taught by Appleton piano teacher Pamela Nash and gave the recital at St Wilfrid's Church, Grappenhall, on June 19.
They played pieces ranging from Elton John and Scott Joplin compositions to traditional works and music by the likes of Vaughan Williams.
The money raised goes to the charity that provides recuperative holidays in the UK for young people with cancer who have grown up in Belarus in the shadow of the Chernobyl tragedy of 1986.
