CHILDREN at a Grappenhall primary school marked the centenary of the First World War with a remarkable display of poppies.
The youngsters at St Wilfrid’s Primary School in the village teamed up with the Grappenhall historical society.
And they took part in an exhibition at Bellhouse Lane Community Centre earlier in November.
Some also took part in the Parr Hall concert Oh, What a Lovely War, organised by pupils from Lymm High School, while they made their own version of the Tower of London poppies inside the school hall.
