AN artist has revealed an exhibition of work dedicated to a founding member of Grappenhall Library.
Arthur Turner is displaying a small collection of watercolours – many of vistas from around south Warrington, at the Albert Road venue.
And the display is in memory of Dr June Brocklebank, a founder campaigner to reopen the library, who had suggested to Arthur that the paintings should be seen by many more people.
Arthur said: “June sadly passed away some months ago and I hope this exhibition is a means of remembering her and her work to resurrect the library.”
The exhibition can be viewed during usual library opening times. More details at grappenhall.org.uk.
