A574 spur from M62 junction 11 to Risley Moss is 60mph

THE speed limit on the A574 spur from the M62 junction 11 towards Risley Moss is 60mph, Birchwood Town councillors have been told.
The borough council confirmed the speed following an inquiry from a Birchwood motorist.
Sean Halewood, from the borough council, said: “The speed limit may currently appear unclear due to some of the speed limit repeater signs being obstructed by overgrown vegetation or alternatively being in need of replacement.”
