Drug abuse doesn't ad up

A CAMPAIGN to raise awareness of the consequences of taking drugs has been launched, produced by young people for young people.

Youth Volunteering Warrington decided to take action against the numbers of young people getting involved in drugs.

They designed the thought- provoking poster as well as produced a short film to be shown to pupils at Culcheth High School.

Kirsty Daly, one of the volunteers, said “We hope our campaign will make young people think twice before getting involved in drugs.

“We particularly wanted to highlight the effect drugs can have on friends and family. Taking drugs is not glamorous and can take you on the wrong path for your future.”

The bus stop posters will be up at Locking Stumps and Culcheth over the following weeks.
