POLICE have pledged to visit schools in Culcheth, Croft and Glazebury to tackle parking problems outside schools.
Officers want to crack down on drivers who block roads at the beginning and end of the school day in the three villages as one of their priorities for October.
Police are also increasing night patrols in the area to cut the number of thefts from cars after a recent increase.
Another priority for October is to improve communication between the police and public.
