A BROWNIE leader from Culcheth had the chance to interview some of the UK’s biggest pop acts including Tinie Tempah and Pixie Lott.
Vanessa Holt, from 1st Culcheth Brownies, helped backstage at Girlguiding’s ‘Big Gig’ at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
The 17-year-old was given the opportunity to act as a roving reporter for the day, posing questions to each of the performers before they took to the stage.
Vanessa, who has travelled to Paris, Morocco and Siberia through guiding, said: “The atmosphere in the press room was incredible – everyone was very friendly.
“The entire interview with Loveable Rogues was hilarious. I was shocked to find out they were named after a dog.
“The experience has increased my confidence and my ability to think on the spot.”
